Construction Project Manager

About the role

The Islamic Center of Orlando (ICO) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialty Construction Project Manager & Owner's Representative to oversee the completion of the construction of our new facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecture, excellent project management skills, and the ability to manage complex projects from inception to completion. This role will ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while aligning with the specific needs and values of the ICO community.

Job Type: Part-Time, Contract

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on specialty construction projects.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects, preferably with a value of $10 million or more.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills a plus.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools. PMP or other relevant certification is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Islamic cultural and architectural elements is a plus.
